1. Carlos Slim: 

• Definitely the richest engineer in the world with his $71.2 mlrd. 

• Mr. Slim owns the Grupo Carso conglomerate with interests in finance, communication, retailing and technology. 

• This man is a Mexican who has a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.

2. Charles Koch:

• The CEO of Koch Industries is strongly related to the MIT educational system having degrees in General Engineering, M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering and M.Sc. Chemical Engineering.
